What is the UN trying to do
The UN had made very key steps to helping fix global warming like the paris agreement, Which President Obama created to strengthen the global awareness about climate change. so far 126 parties have already ratified. Other steps that they are trying to take further are to reduce emission in nations like China and India. This first took place in Morocco on the 15th to 18th of November 2016. What else is the UN trying to do to help the enviroment?
The UN is doing plenty to help with the environment. They have created laws to protect marine life from pollution and the harm of rising ocean temperatures. They have put a deadline and a quota on how much emissions countries can produce, and they have given clean water to more than one and a half billion people
How Can Us, as students help?
We can help by doing stuff like this. Creating awareness about something is probably the most important part because without that civilians won't know whats going on. Whether it is a bake sale or a flyer, it is our job as the next generation to help save this planet. Retweet our messages on twitter, and share our comments on Facebook, theres so much you could do to spread the message, but also spreading the message isn't just going to help the UN. Take it a step further and try to ride your bike more, and try your best to prevent yourself from using your car. Greenhouse gases are the main leader of global warming and doing even the smallest things like spending a as much time as possible with your lights off, will help you do your part. Every little bit does help.
