The Melt Project: What are We?

So, you might be asking yourself, what is the melt project and why should I care about it? Well, you should because it has to do with the world you live in! The Melt Project is a Nonprofit organization that focuses on reducing the effects of global warming in our world today. We focus on three main things: The Ocean, The Atmosphere, and The Clean Water. All of this affected by global warming. In the world today where our own president thinks climate change is a hoax we are trying not to screw ourselves over. The human population is great! But some of the things we do are ruining our planet.

For example, we are burning more fossil fuels then ever and when that gas floods into our atmosphere it weakens the ozone layer and increases the temperature of our planet. This doesn't just effect your hot summers and your snowless winters. This effects marine life, plants, and all sorts of different organisms. So we here at The Melt Project are trying to spread awareness to the next generation, YOU! If you care as much as we do spread the word and DO SOMETHING! Whether you ride your bike to school or reuse your water bottle your helping. If all of you do it you can be the generation that helps stop global warming and its affects. so....WHO'S WITH US!
